life, death, and poetry
here's an update on what's happening on the balcony, pictures taken on sunday. three of the radishes have disappeared by now: eaten, i'm afraid, on sunday evening. yummy! :) the first harvest of the year!
might be old news for some of you, but i only heard early this morning - stanley kunitz died on sunday at the ripe old age of 100.
i've been reading the loch raven review's first annual print issue, enjoying it enormously. the poems, stories and reviews can all be found online too, so no excuses not to read.
song of the day: mad about you, hooverphonic.

Hey michi, just reading through your blog and realize some congratulations are in order...for your two recent acceptances! Cheers!
Beautiful cemetary pics, too.

i'm all sulky envious about your thriving garden. booooo!! i got a healthy thyme years ago and it died in less than a month. why why why?? what's the secret to caring for plants? i talk to them, i water them, i give them mozart and motherly love. what else do they want?
and don't worry about nigel. he'll be back with your favorite shoes and stockings. he promised.

they're after your soul, arlene. i swear. they are pissed off by people spreading lies about michi, too, and refuse to grow. honestly.
will that be nigel WITH or IN my favourite shoes/stockings? *shudder*

yeah!!! Your Cento rocks, Michi. I wish I had a garden, it's one of the first things I'm doing when I finally move. I'm envious of yours.
rachel, thanks. :)
and it's not a garden, it's only a balcony - and strictly speaking, not even mine - it's over at my husband's place.
